Details Emerge on WI Shooter- Ties to Hate Rock Bands, Racist Skinheads, Neo-Nazi Groups and More

Late last night his name was released and now more details about Wade Michael Page are being shared by media:

  • He had ties to extreme groups End Apathy (racist skinheads) and National Alliance (Neo-Nazis).
  • As a musician, he proudly attended hate rock festivals, per this 2010 interview.
  • He served at Fort Bliss in Texas and Fort Bragg, N.C. from 1992 to 1998, at which time he was discharged for “patterns of misconduct”. He had been ranked as sergeant, and later as a specialist. Page’s job was as a Hawk missile system repairman and he later became a psychological operations specialist.
  • He used a 9mm semiautomatic pistol and carried extra ammunition in a military-style tactical belt.
  • An ATF official confirmed that Page was “heavily tattoed” with white supremacy and 9/11 marks.
  • He was 40 years old and recently broke up with his girlfriend.
